Role Overview

• Position: Freelance Tour Guide
• Location: Helsinki
• Contract Type: Freelance
• Payment: Fixed salary of 160€/day
• Schedule: Flexible – work on days and hours that suit you

Key Responsibilities

• Lead private and customized walking tours for travelers
• Share engaging insights about Helsinki’s history, culture, and landmarks
• Adapt each experience to guest interests and preferences
• Provide an enjoyable, safe, and informative tour
• Handle simple logistics and guest communication during the experience

Requirements

• Local Expertise: Strong knowledge of Helsinki’s key sites, stories, and culture
• Languages: Fluency in at least one of the following: French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese, or Portuguese
• Experience: Previous experience in guiding or hosting is a plus but not essential
• Flexibility: Comfortable with tours lasting between 3 and 8 hours
• Gastronomy: A love for food is an asset, especially for food-focused tours
