Position Overview

• Role: Freelance Local Host / Tour Guide
• Location: Helsinki
• Contract: Freelance
• Compensation: €160/day (fixed rate) + bonuses
• Schedule: Fully flexible—you choose your availability

What You’ll Do

• Lead private walking tours tailored to guest interests
• Share engaging stories about Helsinki’s history, culture, and neighborhoods
• Ensure a friendly, informative, and enjoyable experience
• Manage tour flow and guest interactions smoothly
• (Optional) Host culinary tours if you’re passionate about local food

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of Helsinki and its key highlights
• Fluent in at least one language: French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese, or Portuguese
• Available to host tours lasting 3 to 8 hours
• Hospitality or guiding background is a plus, but not required
• Interest in gastronomy is a bonus
