This key role will be responsible for the efficient management of our client’s holidays as well as other office administration tasks. This role will manage all aspects of the clients booking post sale. The employee will be expected to ensure our clients holidays run seamlessly while building client and supplier relationships. The success of this role is vital to the overall success of the business as we are a service industry where client experience is paramount to success.
This role will be full time on 38 hrs per week contract. As we are a seasonal tourism business, we would like the successful candidate to have flexibility and the potential to increase working hours to meet the demands of the business during the summer months if required.
This is not your standard administrative position. During the summer months, the pace is exceptionally fast, requiring strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to stay highly organised. If you are not confident working in a high-pressure environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, this role may not be the right fit.
For the months of May to September your working week will be either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. As compensation for working weekends during these months staff have a 4 day work week for 4 months of the off season
Key Responsibilities:
- Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them.
- Book transportation, make hotel and catering reservations
- Creating detailed holiday documentation and accompanying material such as information books etc.
- Managing all Itinerary’s to ensure consistency from website to client information
- Create invoices and collect payment/fees - approving Invoices
- Enter data into our CRM software and maintain client files
- Maintain statistical and financial records
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
Essential
- Excellent computer skills - MS Office
- Attention to detail
- Works well under pressure with the ability to multi task and switch between duties
- Administration Experience
- Team player
- Honest, Ethical with high performance standards
- Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
- Commercially aware
- Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
- Self-motivated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desirable
- Passion for Outdoor activity’s specifically Hiking and Cycling
- Travel agency or tour operator experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €32,000.00-€39,000.00 per year
