We are looking for a thorough Tower Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of cell tower sites. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as trouble shooting, antenna, radio, and jumper replacement, fiber cleaning, etc. A Tower Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain cell tower sites in the best possible condition. In addition to tower maintenance, we will utilize you to assist with civil work on new sites.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting of Cellular sites
• Fiber testing and line Sweeping
• Antenna and radio removal and replacement
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (replace coax jumpers, coax connectors, and fiber jumpers.)

Skills

• Proven experience as a tower technician
• Basic understanding of cellular transmission systems
• Knowledge of general troubleshooting processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, testing equipment
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Primarily M-F work schedule
• Home most nights very little out of town Stay overs
• Up to 10 hour work days
• Long term employment position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
