PSG Horticulture Services NZ Limited in the Bay of Plenty is currently recruiting for the position of full-time Machine Operator/ Tractor Drivers in horticulture operations.
To be suitable for this role, you require a drivers license (A class 1 full licence) to be able to operate a tractor. You must be comfortable to operate a heavy tractor as well as fit and agile.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and functional state and always store them appropriately.
- implement tractor & machinery operations
- Perform regular engine maintenance
- Inspect, maintain, diagnose, and assist with minor repairs and maintenance.
- Prepare and position tractor for operation .
- Operate tractor-drawn and self-propelled plant
- Keep work records and a proper log of the day's operation
- Spray weeds as directed.
- Store all equipment in the correct location and in a clean and functional state.
- Tow implements between paddocks and sheds in a safe and controlled manner

The pay-rate is from $30.00 -$32.00 per hour.
Employment is a minimum of 32 hours per week - 45 hours per week.
