Trade Assistant - Recreational Boating Industry

Trade Assistants.

The job is to assist our tradesmen as they undertake repair, and maintenance, on a range of different types of boats. The tasks range from timber work, such as repairing cabinets and decks to the installation of sophisticated electronic equipment. The work also involves polishing boats, preparing hulls for painting and general maintenance of the workshop.

For the applicant with a positive, can - do attitude, there is great opportunity to make this short term position a long-term career in the recreational Boating Industry.

Experience

Previous workshop and trade assist experience (Essential)

Previous experience working across a variety of trades (Desirable)

Polishing boats/ cars (Desirable)

General knowledge of boats (Desirable)

Other

Access to a smart phone device (Essential)

Police Clearance (Essential)

Manual driver’s license (Essential)
