Position Summary

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join the EEW team. You’ll be the face of our branch, assisting customers with their plumbing supply needs, providing expert product advice, processing sales orders, and ensuring every customer enjoys a professional and positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service at the trade counter and over the phone.
• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and technical information across EEW’s full product range.
• Process sales orders, quotations, and returns accurately and efficiently using EEW’s sales system.
• Promote additional or alternative products to meet customer needs and increase sales opportunities.
• Work closely with warehouse and internal sales staff to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
• Maintain an organised, clean, and well-presented trade counter area.
• Monitor stock levels.
• Develop strong relationships with local contractors, plumbers, and repeat customers.
• Handle customer issues with professionalism and a focus on providing effective solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in trade counter sales or customer service is preferred but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, customer-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good computer skills,
• Reliable, organized, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
• A full clean driving licence

Working Conditions

• Primarily based at the EEW trade counter, with support in warehouse operations.
• Regular customer and supplier interaction.
