Trade Services Manager

As the Trade Services Manager based at CARTERS Hamilton you will support the branch manager by overseeing daily operations of the timber yard/bulk stores areaa, despatch and inwards goods. Recognised for driving a high-performance culture, you will manage your team through values-based leadership as you:

• Coordinate the efficient flow of products and deliveries - ensuring all orders are promptly picked, assembled, loaded, and delivered efficiently.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers and subcontractors to ensure smooth logistics and timely deliveries.
• Oversee stock management.
• Lead an inspire a team of dedicated individuals, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging growth.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to outstanding customer service and support and have the following skills and qualities:

• Proven team leadership experience
• Someone who values teamwork and approaches tasks with a positive mindset.
• Shows natural people skills, good at gaining trust and connecting with our valued customers and suppliers.
• Exceptional communicator, adept at interacting across all organisational levels.
• Capable in navigating computer systems with a firm grasp of technology.
• Building industry knowledge is beneficial.
• Full NZ Drivers Licence is a MUST.
• Forklift F Endorsed Licence with OSH Certificate
• Physically fit
