Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Control Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic around construction sites or roadwork areas. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. The Traffic Controller will be responsible for directing vehicles and pedestrians, maintaining safety protocols, and assisting with the overall flow of operations.
Responsibilities
- Direct traffic flow around construction sites, ensuring safety for both workers and the public.
- Communicate clearly with drivers and pedestrians.
- Monitor traffic patterns and adjust signals as necessary to maintain smooth operations.
- Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain a clear understanding of local traffic laws and regulations to enforce compliance effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
