Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Traffic Controller (automotive logistics) in Cogent Automotive Logistics. The Traffic Controller will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of consumer vehicles via land transportation, ensuring timely deliveries, efficient route planning, and effective communication with drivers and clients.

• Deploy driver to perform trucking activities for transportation of motor vehicles and towing services
• Coordinate closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth daily operations
• Assign and plan the drivers’ daily schedule through Vehicle Tracking System
• Conduct toolbox meeting
• Maintain data entry of the transportation of motor vehicles
• Perform paperwork on company’s fleet maintenance and arrange the vehicles for inspection
• Compile the monthly trip incentives report
• Raise non-conforming services/events reporting and recommend appropriate follow-up actions for management approval
• Adhere to statutory / company’s safety and health policies, procedures and regulations
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Nitec or equivalent qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in deployment of drivers for trucking/ loose cargo jobs.
• Strong understanding of land transportation regulations, routes, and logistical considerations in Singapore.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,700.00 per month
