Trailer Technician (310j)

Minimax Express is a family owned trucking company that has been in business for over 30 years. We operate within the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, with 6 terminals and 300 team members. Our Cornwall terminal is seeking out a trailer mechanic. Responsibilities include:

• Inspection, diagnosis and repair of trailers through preventative and scheduled maintenance in shop
• Perform general trailer repairs on electrical and/or pneumatic systems
• Comply with safe operating procedures and company health and safety policies
• Conduct annual safety inspections
• Follow standard work order process and procedures, ensuring detailed, accurate and timely records
• Experience welding and working with hand and air tools
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• other duties as required

Must be reliable and hold a valid Trailer Technician (310J or 310T) certificate.

Must be cooperative and have a positive attitude

Must have a valid class "G" driver's license for the Province of Ontario

AZ License an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
