Job Description:
In order to actively participate to the successful expansion of the bank and the further development of the Legal and Company Secretary Team (LST), Bank of China Limited, Luxembourg Branch is looking for a Trainee - Legal Assistant. The successful candidate will report to the Company Secretary and will participate, among others, to the company secretariat duties and various administrative tasks related to day-to-day work of the LST.
Experience:
The candidate’s major should be legal or business administration (or equivalent) at master level; any previous relevant internship will be positively regarded.
Qualifications
Profile (Technical Skills):
- Proficiency knowledge of Chinese and English is mandatory, French will be considered as an asset
- Knowledge of business administration; knowledge of corporate secretarial matters will be considered as an asset (e.g. organization of decisional committees’ and/or board of directors’ meetings, AGM/EGM, trade register, etc.)
- Excellent clerical skills: attention to detail, strong written communication skills (particularly in Chinese and English languages), strong organization skills, computer literate
- Knowledge of the banking environment
- Some basic / general knowledge of Luxembourg and/or Chinese law will be considered as an asset
Profile (Soft Skills):
- Good analytical, drafting and issue-solving skills
- Able to work effectively under pressure
- Prioritization skills and strong team player in multicultural environment
Additional Information
This position is based in Luxembourg and open with immediate effect. Internship agreement provided by school is mandatory. Valid resident permit should be provided and should cover the whole period of internship.
