We are now looking for a
Trainee project purchaser
to join our team working for a better future.
The position is temporary and the preferred location is in Trieste, but also Vaasa are possible location.
What you will be doing
As Trainee project purchaser, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
Main responsibilities:
- Cut down time to quote and secure on time availability especially with non-stock materials
- Develop spare part delivery chain to meet customer requirements
- Align and cooperate with Supply Teams and AREA Sales
- Work closely with involved parties and solve day-to-day business-related challenges
- Monitor and report performance
- Support in system development
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Customer Understanding (SCM)
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Target and result oriented
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong self-management skills
- Fluent in both written and oral business English
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Good negotiation skills
- SAP knowledge in after sales business. B.Sc./M.Sc. in Engineering or Economics and Business Administration
- Few years of experience of supply chain activity and related SAP modules
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our suppliers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
