Trainee Quantity Surveyor
  • Cost Estimation:
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to quantify materials, labor, and other costs.
  • Budgeting:
  • Assist in developing project budgets and financial plans.
  • Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process.
  • Quantity Take-Offs:
  • Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings.
  • Estimate quantities of materials required for construction activities.
  • Bill of Quantities (BOQ):
  • Prepare and manage the Bill of Quantities, a detailed document outlining the quantities and costs of materials and labor for a construction project.
  • Tendering and Procurement:
  • Assist in the tendering process by preparing bid documents and analyzing contractor bids.
  • Participate in procurement activities, including negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Contract Administration:
  • Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Handle variations and change orders, assessing their impact on project costs.
  • Value Engineering:
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
  • Cost Reporting:
  • Generate regular reports on project costs and financial status for management and stakeholders.
  • Provide analysis of cost variances and trends.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess potential risks related to project costs.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure cost-effective project delivery.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and well-coordinated approach to cost management.
  • Dispute Resolution:
  • Assist in resolving disputes related to project costs, contracts, and claims.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in relation to cost management.
  • Post-Contract Analysis:
  • Conduct post-contract analysis to evaluate the actual project costs compared to estimates and budgets.
  • Professional Development:
  • Stay informed about changes in construction industry practices, regulations, and technologies.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
