Our rich history hasn’t just shaped who we are — it’s positioned us for an exciting future. And we want the right people alongside us for the journey.
Description:
Good with numbers and tech? Become a Trainee Surveyor.
Surveyors are the people who make sure everything on a construction site ends up exactly where it should. If you like maths, enjoy working with technology and want a job that gets you out from behind a desk, surveying could be a great fit.
JK Williams (JKW) is a well-established and highly regarded civil construction business based in Penrith. We believe in traditional values while embracing modern ways of working – and we’re looking for a Trainee Surveyor or Survey Technician, ideally with some experience in civil construction, to join our Surveying team.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to our Survey Manager, you’ll be responsible for the survey and set out of civil projects. You’ll be:
Reviewing design information (hard copy and digital) to work out each day’s set out
Surveying and setting out civil projects on site
Working to our Integrated Management System (WHS, Quality and Environment)
Skills and Experiences:

The must-haves
Working towards a Cert IV in Surveying, or willing to start one
WHS Industry Induction Card (White Card)
Valid Australian driver’s licence
What’s in it for you
A great package – negotiated based on your experience and skills
Job security – with a reputable, long-standing company
