We're looking for a dynamic and qualified VET trainer with current industry knowledge to deliver the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing and Disability. This is a full-time, permanent remote role starting this November — ready to jump in?

About the Role:
Do you want to work from home?
This is a fully remote, permanent full-time position that will see you working from home delivering CHC33021 Certificate III Individual Support – Ageing and Disability to existing workers Monday to Friday. The right candidate will have a genuine love for training within both Ageing and Disability sector and extensive current industry experience in both sectors.
Your responsibilities will primarily involve delivering, supporting and engaging students in a Digital Classroom environment, with a focus on high-quality delivery and assessment. You will facilitate and support students during live sessions, mark online assessments, and conduct Competency Based Discussions (CBDs) with students. Additionally, you will prepare and submit session plans while providing ongoing support to our students. When not delivering sessions, you will continue to complete online marking, and CBDs to ensure ongoing student support. This is a full-time position requiring 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You must be available to work a minimum of two evening sessions per week, either:
Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
OR
- Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm

About you:
You are a passionate Trainer and Assessor who can engage, captivate, and motivate your target audience. You will be innovative in how you deliver a training package whilst maintaining a focus on compliance for accredited training and assessment. Your previous experience delivering CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing and Disability online programs in will see you deliver, guide, add value and experience to the learning process for existing workers within the Ageing and Disability sectors. Your collaborative and caring approach will support individuals to complete a qualification where they have the capacity to deliver exceptional care to the community services population to improve lives!
Essential Criteria/Requirements:
- Current qualification CHC33021 Certificate III Individual Support – Ageing and Disability or higher current qualification.
- Industry Currency - Relevant and current industry experience in Ageing and Disability (Working in the relevant industry part-time, casual, volunteer) and able to provide evidence.
- VET PD which is current.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- Demonstrated experience in the online delivery and assessment of training programs.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in relevant vocational industry including demonstrated experience in training and assessment in a competency-based training environment.
- An understanding of nationally endorsed Training Packages and accredited courses.
- Demonstrated experience with VET Quality Framework and understanding of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2025.
- High level of interpersonal and communications skills
- Proficiency in using learning management systems such as Canvas.
- Working with Children Check
- Reliable and high-speed internet coverage.
- A dedicated home office setup.
