Trainer - Carpenter

Job Brief:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students various carpentry techniques, ensuring they gain hands-on experience and knowledge to succeed in the industry. This role requires a deep understanding of carpentry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with industry standards.

· Provide hands-on instruction in carpentry techniques, including residential and commercial construction.

· Teach safety protocols and ensure adherence to workplace safety standards.

· Assess student performance through practical evaluations and coursework.

· Maintain classroom and workshop environments to support effective learning.

· Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into the curriculum.

· Mentor and support students in achieving their professional goals.

Qualifications:

· Extensive experience in carpentry, including residential and commercial projects.

· Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques.

· Exceptional communication and instructional skills.

· Certification or licensure in carpentry (preferred).

· Prior teaching or training experience is a plus but not required.

· Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
