Training And Development Manager

Are you passionate about empowering people and driving organizational success through learning? Watertown Enterprises is seeking a dynamic Training and Development Specialist to join our team!

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, delivering, and managing impactful training programs that elevate employee skills and foster a culture of continuous growth. From facilitating engaging workshops to administering our Learning Management System (LMS), you’ll play a key role in shaping the professional development journey for our workforce.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and deliver interactive training sessions, workshops, and e-learning courses.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps and align learning initiatives with business goals.
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) to track progress, and report on program success.
  • Lead the Registered Apprenticeship Program and other workforce initiatives
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions to employees at all levels
  • Maintain training records and provide regular reports on participation, progress, and outcomes.
  • Use innovative tools to create instructional materials and interactive e-learning modules.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to keep our programs fresh and effective.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in training, learning and development, or a similar role; experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms (e.g., ADP, Cornerstone) and e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data to measure learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
  • Certification in L&D (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) is a plus!

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (Preferred)
