Training Coordinator H/F

The Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting development and implementation of the company’s training strategy to increase the awareness and use of DKT WomanCare’s products globally, with a focus on Levoplant contraceptive implants and the Ipas MVA technology. The Training Coordinator will ensure all training activities are effectively implemented in collaboration with various stakeholders to contribute to achieving overall organizational goals. Our training activities span the globe and therefore this role must be based in or near the Central European Time zone to effectively engage with our key partners and global team; the ability to work from our Paris office is ideal. Your Responsibilities Include

  • Working closely with the wider sales and marketing team, lead development of annual training plans to ensure that healthcare provider training activities are aligned to support achievement of company’s goals.
  • Organize and coordinate all training activities and ensure cost-effective and timely implementation of planned activities.
  • Work across various internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs and effectively implement activities at country level to increase uptake of Levoplant contraceptive Implants. This will include a significant focus on organizing and implementing training activities for public sector healthcare providers, with a focus on sub-Saharan African countries.
  • Identify training requirements and support distributors and local DKT country offices to implement capacity building activities to build healthcare provider competency in the use of the Ipas MVA kit.
  • Develop and lead internal and external training programs for DKT WomanCare staff and consultants.
  • Contribute to preparations for and be available to attend key scientific conferences to engage with healthcare professionals and support promotion of DKT WomanCare’s products
  • Lead development and periodic updates of training materials, including the resources on DKT WomanCare’s training platform (WomanCare Academy)
  • Ensure training materials and techniques are of high quality and effectively increase healthcare provider competence and ability to provide high quality patient-centered care using DKT WomanCare’s products.
  • Ensure training activities and materials target the correct audience and are appropriately adapted to the cadre of healthcare provider and context of service delivery (including OB/GYNs, nurses, medical officers, midwives, etc.).
  • Manage a pool of key opinion leaders and leverage their expertise to support training and other healthcare-provider activities.
  • Develop and maintain methods to measure the success of training and capacity building activities; ensure continuous feedback and improvement are embedded in the training strategy.
  • Other activities and contributions as required to support marketing and demand generation activities; other tasks when required and as assigned by the Marketing lead.

Your Experience and Skills

  • A university degree from an accredited institution in Public Health, Medical/Pharmaceuticals, Marketing or a related field; masters degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing training programs for medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals; prior experience implementing public sector training programs in global contexts preferred
  • Lived experience working in LMICs preferred
  • Experience with accredited medical training programs is a plus and clinical experience is a distinct plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and to develop and maintain strong business partner relationships
  • Innovative, proactive, and resourceful; committed to quality and continuous improvement
  • Ability to anticipate and mitigate challenges
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Hands-on team player willing to work in an environment where individual initiative, accountability, and professional maturity are required
  • Strong command of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Professional fluency in English; professional fluency in French and/or Spanish a bonus.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset combined with a passion to improve reproductive health outcomes globally.
