Gallagher Bassett (GB) has six offices in Australia located in Northern Territory, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, and employing over 1,600 staff.

How you'll make an impact:

As a Training Specialist you will support the team in designing, coordinating and delivering comprehensive training programs tailored to support our organisation. You will also play a key role in enhancing the capability of our client's new software system. The role will partner with the local business operation to design, develop, facilitate, monitor and evaluate claims training initiatives to drive performance within the operation. You will have worked in a fast-paced, agile environment across multiple projects and tasks.


Please note this is a Maximum Term contract through to June 2026.


On a day to day basis you will:
  • Design, develop and deliver training programs and assessments to internal clients
  • Partner with external stakeholders, key managers and subject matter experts regarding training material relevance, accuracy and alignment to business needs
  • Develop strategies and create & deliver training materials using contemporary Adult Learning principles to improve our business's capability in the roll out of a new IT system
  • Facilitate training programs as and when required
  • Analysis of data, trends, and evidence-based research to provide advice on how to close skill gaps and enable targeted support from complimentary roles
  • Communicate with key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation in line with project timelines to deliver key learning content where appropriate
  • Maintain records of learning and development activities and report on employee progress utilising GB’s learning management system
About you:

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or Tertiary qualifications are highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in learning needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning programs
  • Experience working in a fast paced, agile environment across multiple projects and tasks
  • Commercially minded with a proven ability to consult with stakeholders to understand capability gaps, engage in co-solution design and source a range of options to deliver on project requirements
  • Effective Learning Management System administration
  • A love of learning and a desire to continually develop yourself
