The role primarily involves the manual transcription of customer service phone conversations. To ensure security, transcribers are required to:

• Log in to a secure server provided by the client.
• Perform all work within the specific tool supplied (no downloading of audio files is permitted).

Complete training via remote connection.

As this is transcription, the pay rate needs to be clarified as it is not an hourly amount, but is dependent upon output. On that basis, the pay rate is €3 per audio minute transcribed.

No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided in the use of the tools and requirements of the task.

This will require remote login and operations on a server, so basic technical skills regarding the use of a PC/Mac are expected, and we advise a minimum of Windows 10 or similar Mac OS for this purpose. This task is not suitable for use with phones/tablets/Chromebooks.

No specific linguistic degree is required, but applicants are expected to have excellent spelling and grammar in the required language and an ability to discuss any issues arising in English.

The job is listed as a minimum of 20 hours per week, as we are after applicants who can dedicate at least 4 hours a day to this task. However, this is flexi-work from home, so the actual hours of operation can be arranged upon successful completion of training.
