NABA is currently seeking motivated individuals for the role of
Transformation Project Management Assistant
The selected candidate will join the Academic Transformation Project Unit, that has a specific competence on the internal processes and, thanks to this, collaborates and supports the IT office in the digitalization project development. In particular, the Unit works on projects that have impacting on academic processes services, by supporting involved areas in the definition of technical briefings, both in the project monitoring and in the testing phase by interacting also directly with software houses in charge of digitalization project developments.
In addition, the Unit gives direct support to the office resolving technical problems reported through our internal ticketing platform.
The selected candidate will follow activities that are carried out in close collaboration with the IT office and the external consultant:
  • Project Management:
    • Support by collecting the digitalization project needs connected with and/or impacting on academic processes services.
    • Support the preparation of a task list related to each single digitalization project, the constant monitoring of the respect of the task list.
    • Support the testing phases of digitalization projects, with autonomous pre-tests with the software houses, and the coordination and support of project owners in their own tests and feedback.
    • Support the “go-live” of each digitalization project in the defined task list and makes sure that all parts of briefings have been finalized/ implemented before the official closing of the project (project owners’ satisfaction).
  • Training: an integral part of the activities is the training to be provided to the other offices in relation to the problems reported through the opening of tickets and due to incorrect procedures and in relation to the release of new functions and management of new systems.
  • Digitalization Activities Support: Support other Academic Processes Units, such as Registration office and Academic Coordination Office, in managing their digital activities and finding smart digital solutions aimed at simplifying and better managing their own processes (in addition to the digitalization projects).
  • Ticketing Management: Perform initial checks and resolve tickets related to the SIS and to the other internal systems.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Specific technical IT expertise is not required, but a good technical attitude and problem-solving attitude are essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with empathy and patience in supporting colleagues.
  • Service-oriented mindset and proactive approach to improving internal user experience.
  • Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas) and general management software.
  • Experience in the education or academic sector is a plus.
  • Good command of English (B2/C1).
