Stateline Transport is an Irish owned haulage, logistics and container depot. As a family business, running for over 30 years, we operate throughout Ireland offering a tailored service to each of our clients.

Due to business and company growth we are seeking a Transport Planner to join our transport team. The successful applicant will be responsible for dealing with planning driver routes, booking jobs as per customer requests and communication between both drivers and customers.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Planning efficient routes for all deliveries and collections in Ireland.
• Effective communication providing clear and accurate information to our drivers, third-party hauliers and customers.
• Timely engagement with the customers to ensure high quality customer service is maintained by answering customer queries.
• Ensure that data within our Transport Management Software (TMS) is kept up to date with all relevant information.
• Overview of manpower analysis to ensure full utilisation of the fleet.
• Preparing documentation including POD for deliveries and customer.
• Reporting to the Senior Transport Planner.

Minimum requirements

• Experience in a Transport Administer role would be an advantage.
• Ability to stay calm under fast paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, planning and organisational skills.
• Experienced in Microsoft Suite.
• Strong analytical and computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with good written and spoken English.
• Ability to use initiative and work well under pressure and to deadlines.
• A team player with a flexible, positive attitude towards work.
• Experience with MoveIT TMS is a distinct advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Transport Regulations would be an advantage.

Terms:

• Full time permanent role, typically Monday to Friday.
• Company is operational 05:00 to 19:00.
• Salary - €35,000-€45,000 Depending on experience.

Pay: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
