Transport & Warehouse / Yard Coordinator

Performance Glass are manufacturers of specialist high-performance and fire-rated products for the construction sector. We deliver high-quality goods on time, and with excellent customer service.

The role will involve:

- Loading vehicles in a safe and organised manor by hand and crane.

- Ensuring that the cut glass is safe for transport

- Transporting glass to and from our toughening plant using a forklift to load and offload

- Banding and strapping of single/double glazed units in a safe and professional manner for customer collection

The standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm.

Applicants should be able to lift heavy loads, and work safely within a manufacturing environment.

- Driving licence required

- FLT licence required

- Previous experience working with glass would be advantageous , but full training will be provided in-house.

Glass processing is a potentially hazardous environment, and safety must take priority when working around stock and cut size glass.
