As a CCT Canada Customer Service Representative, you are the first point of contact for our valued customers and play an integral role in customer retention. You will scrutinize each step of the delivery process. You will consistently exceed the customer’s expectations to build loyalty and trust. You will pledge to be proactive and do your utmost to answer all inquiries in a professional, quick & informative manner.
Job Expectations:
- Track and trace all shipments specific to your geographic territory
- Acknowledge all requests in a timely fashion
- Ensure no customer is left unanswered.
- Delegate unresolved customer issues/complaints to your Manager for assistance
- Keep records of customer interactions within our computer system
- Take initiative to build customer solutions by being mindful of trends and consistently improving the customer experience
- Build strong rapport with customers, sales team, department staff and interline partners
- Pre-alert terminals for hot shipments and special handling instructions
Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years in LTL transportation and logistics environment is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Programs with emphasis on Outlook and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Punctual, outgoing, energetic, positive team player
- Strong time management skills
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Self-starter who works well under minimal supervision
- Fast typist who excels in a fast-paced work environment
- Customer-focused – demonstrate a sense of urgency and expectations of the customer
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Continually strive for improvement, reaching goals and setting new ones
- Able to manage stress and elevated situations
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to apply common sense yet think outside of the box
