Summer trainee Treasury Operations
We are now looking for a summer trainee to join our Treasury Operations. This position is located in Helsinki but we work combining office days and remote work. We are looking for a person who could work with us already (partly) from early April until end of August 2026.
Stora Enso’s treasury team handles an array of responsibilities including long-term financing, financial risk management, cash and liquidity management, relationships with financial institutions, debt investor relations, financial advisory, forecasting for the Stora Enso Group and its companies, as well as treasury controlling, working capital management, and credit management. Treasury provides Stora Enso with high quality financial market services, innovative solutions to enhance the Groups’ customer offering and flexibility to support the strategic transformation.
As a summer trainee , you will work together with your treasury operations colleagues, establish excellent relations to wider treasury team and other internal and external stakeholders.
Main tasks of the role are
Participate in developing reporting to Power BI
Daily balance monitoring & reporting
Confirming and processing commodity deals
Execution of liquidity transfers
Provide input for adhoc and periodic reporting
Weekly, Month end and quarter close activities in your area focusing to reconciliation and reporting
Comply with treasury policy and accounting principles.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate who is in the middle of his studies in university, ideally in the field of economics, mathematics, computer & information science or similar. Programming language, AI, Power BI and data lake skills are seen as an advantage.
In this position we require excellent spoken and written English, other languages are seen as an asset.
Treasury, banking, payments, and financial instrument knowledge are perceived beneficial.
In this position you need to work independently, be precise and complete tasks in an accurate manner.
As a person, you have a positive attitude and you are committed to develop yourself and your work forward, always keeping safety in mind. You enjoy solving problems and you can analyse information, report results, and promote improvements based on your finding in the organization.
