Job Overview
Dave’s Tree Service is looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Tree Groundsman Crew Member. This is a full-time, year-round position with ongoing opportunities for training and advancement. Pay is based on experience and skill level,and a $1,500 sign-on bonus is currently available.

After 90 days of employment, team members become eligible for health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, as well as seven paid holidays.

Basic Job Duties

• Assist with tree pruning, removals, and other maintenance tasks while following all safety procedures
• Clean up and remove debris from job sites
• Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Operate large trucks and pull trailers when needed
• Exhibit a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening

Advanced Duties

• Assist with rigging and rope operations during removals and pruning
• Operate specialized equipment such as aerial lifts, mini skid steers, and grapple trucks
• Perform basic cutting and pruning for tree care, felling, and shaping, both on the ground and in the canopy

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in tree care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance preferred
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills within the company
• Physically able to perform demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to communicate effectively as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
