Overview

eDel Logistics Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly organized AZ Truck Dispatcher to support our growing truck division across Canada and the United States.

The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of trucking operations, driver management, route planning, and compliance requirements. This role requires someone who can operate in a fast-paced environment, manage urgent operational matters, and maintain strong communication with drivers, customers, brokers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and dispatch AZ drivers for local and cross-border loads
  • Monitor driver schedules, routes, and on-time performance
  • Communicate with drivers regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and operational updates
  • Work closely with brokers, customers, and dispatch team to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) compliance and ELD systems
  • Assist with load planning to maximize truck utilization and minimize empty miles
  • Handle operational issues including delays, breakdowns, and rescheduling
  • Ensure all dispatch activities comply with company safety and compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records, load updates, and driver communications
  • Support fleet operations and assist with problem-solving throughout the day
  • Coordinate trailer movements, appointments, and driver coverage as required

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in truck dispatching or fleet coordination
  • Strong understanding of trucking operations and logistics
  • Experience with cross-border operations considered an asset
  • Familiarity with ELD systems and dispatch software (Samsara experience preferred)
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent operational matters
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sense of urgency
  • Must be a team player with a professional attitude
  • English required; additional languages such as Punjabi or Hindi considered an asset

Compensation: Based on experience

Salary range - $60,000 – $75,000

Hours of operations – Monday to Thursday 5pm – 5 am [ 12 hrs shift; 4 days a week]

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
