Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting Oil and water across various disposals in Bonnyville area. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport oil and water to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation for each trip
- Perform basic repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving is must
- Basic repair skills are desirable for vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical ability to load/unload and perform vehicle inspections as needed
This role is vital for maintaining the smooth flow of our logistics operations, emphasizing safety, reliability, and professionalism at every step.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $8,000.00 per month
