D & D Transport Limited in Auckland is currently recruiting for the role of a full-time Truck Driver to transport materials.
The work includes transportation of various plant and equipment, delivery of materials and aggregates for civil projects and infrastructure, concrete deliveries, and cartage of slip and drainage material.
You must have the minimum of a class 4 drivers license.
You must have at least 12 months of driving experience.
Experience of Road Ranger would assist but is not a must as training will be provided.
You must be fit as this requires removal of material from sites.
The pay-rate is from $30.00-$32.00 per hour based on ability and skills.
Some of the tasks that you will be responsible for, include:
Duties and Tasks
- Skilfully operate and manoeuvre Class 4 vehicles under traffic laws and regulations.
- transport material to designated locations in an efficient and timely manner.
- Make sure vehicle ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Transportation of equipment and diggers
- cartage of slip and drainage material
- Ensuring necessary sealing and tying of contents to ensure road safety and for road users
A minimum of 32 hours of work will be provided per week and a maximum of 45 hours.
