Responsibilities Include:
- Maneuvering vehicles into position for loading and unloading
- Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
- Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
- Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
- Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
- Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
- Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in driving Heavy vehicles ( Class 4 & 5) is required but not essential.
- Experience in operating Swing Lift / Side lifter / Side Loader / Container Lifter is preferred.
- Experience in operating a digger will be an added advantage.
- Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,800.00 – $49,920.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplementary Pay:
- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
