Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.

Duties

• Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid truck driver’s license.
• Strong knowledge of freight handling and transportation regulations.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance.
• Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Attention to detail in completing paperwork and maintaining records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
