We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hooklift Truck & Equipment Trailer Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

• Operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Load and unload construction equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability on the road.
• Operate forklifts and heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Strong knowledge and operation of Hooklift BinTruck.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and forklifts is preferred.
• Basic automotive repair skills for maintaining vehicle performance.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients professionally.
• A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of driving and freight handling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour
