Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks; report any mechanical issues promptly
• Assist with freight documentation, including delivery receipts and shipping manifests
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate delivery schedules
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and ensure compliance with company safety standards
• Conduct automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues when necessary to minimize downtime

Skills

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
• Knowledge of automotive repair and basic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery
