Truck Driver -

Job type - Full time Permanent with minimum 35 hours go up to 50 hours.

Description- At least 1 year experience in driving Class 4 vehicle and must have ability to communicate (speak and write) in English.

Skills requirements:- Can drive Class 4 Manual Truck, good reversing. Can read, write and speak in English.

• Carry necessary License all the time
• Punctual and reliable
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Inspect truck daily prior to start of shift to ensure it is in good working condition, clean and tidy.
• Make sure vehicle is up to date and comply with COF , RUC, Registration
• Fill fuel before end of shift to ensure next driver can operate without any issue.
• Operate truck on different routes in order to pick up or drop off goods.
• Obeys law and follow traffic/road rules
• Communicate with customers in polite and respectful manner.
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Have a good work ethic, keen attitude and take pride in your work and your vehicle
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends if required to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure load is secured with appropriate load securing and safe before start of trip
• Inspect goods condition obtain and verify loading documentation and certification
• Be committed to maintain high standards of Health & Safety practices
• Ensure carry legal permitted axle weight within the limit as per instructions
• Ensure to carry required permits all the time
• Immediately report any incident or damage to vehicle or third party vehicle
• Comply with work hours requirement, break times, enter shift correctly in logbook.
• Work instructions will be given from East Tamaki Auckland
