Truck Driver Class 5 Linehaul Floating

Position – Class 5 Truck Driver * Full time, permanent position * Floating Run across the country (North and South Islands). * At least 6months experience. * Staying in truck out of town * Minimum 30 hours to maximum 50 hours per week Pay rate $30 - $35 per hour, overnight allowance and accommodation provided. * day and night shift – sometimes weekend as well. * Full NZ Driver License Class 4 or 5, or overseas driver license with ability to convert within 12 months Job description * Deliver a wide variety of freight to different customers every day Drive vehicle on designated runs in accordance with regulations and company procedures and in a timely manner Load and unload vehicle with the required load for that day Record all items loaded as per the load sheet Be physically fit and happy to jump out and handle freight when required Complete delivery dockets and job sheets Inspect vehicle for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after trips Ensure that all load documentation required to move with freight is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies freight when delivered Maintain records required for compliance with all regulations Have a good work ethic - show up to work on time and work hard while you are there .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week

Licence/Certification:

• Drivers Licence Class 5 , Forklift and DG (Preferred)
• Class 4 Truck Licence (Preferred)
