We are currently hiring experienced CDL-A Truck Drivers who are responsible, safety-conscious, reliable, and interested in long-term development in the logistics and transportation industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete daily pickup, delivery, and transportation assignments according to dispatch instructions.
• Transport freight between warehouses, customers, ports, container yards, terminals, and other designated locations.
• Pick up and deliver containers, pallets, and other freight as assigned.
• Work with warehouse staff to load, unload, verify cargo quantities, and confirm shipment information.
• Inspect cargo and ensure loads are properly secured before transportation.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, safety requirements, and company driving policies.
• Properly use the ELD system and maintain accurate Hours of Service records.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical problems, vehicle damage, safety concerns, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse staff, customers, and office personnel regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and other transportation issues.
• Maintain and submit BOLs, PODs, delivery receipts, inspection records, fuel records, and other required transportation documents.
• Keep the assigned truck clean and in safe operating condition.
• Follow customer, warehouse, port, and terminal safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A) required.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial truck driving experience required.
• Valid TWIC Card required.
• Valid DOT Medical Certificate / Medical Card.
• Good driving record and strong commitment to safe driving.
• Must be able to meet DOT driver qualification requirements.
• Must be able to pass required pre-employment screening and drug/alcohol testing.
• Experience with local pickup and delivery, warehouse freight, container transportation, or port/terminal operations preferred.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers and commercial vehicles safely.
• Familiarity with ELD systems and Hours of Service requirements.
• Able to perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Able to properly secure freight and inspect loads before transportation.
• Able to safely back into warehouse docks, yards, and customer locations.
• Able to follow dispatch schedules and communicate promptly regarding delays or operational issues.
• Basic English communication skills sufficient for transportation documents, road signs, customer communication, and DOT requirements.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Responsible, punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Strong safety awareness and professional driving habits.
• Team-oriented and willing to cooperate with dispatch, warehouse, and office staff.
• Must be willing to follow company policies and customer facility requirements.
• Willing to learn and grow with the company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Houston-area trucking and delivery experience.
• Familiarity with Houston ports, container yards, warehouses, and distribution centers.
• Experience with port drayage, container transportation, or local/regional freight.
• Experience using ELD, GPS, and dispatch applications.
• Forklift or warehouse experience is a plus.
