Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Semi-Truck / Tractor-Trailer Tire Mechanic to join our service team. This role focuses on servicing commercial and heavy-duty tires for tractor-trailers while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace tires on semi-trucks and tractor-trailers
- Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations
- Inspect tires, wheels, rims, and related components for wear or damage
- Provide roadside and shop-based tire services as required
- Operate tire service equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding services and safety concerns
- Safely handle heavy lifting of commercial tires and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in semi-truck or tractor-trailer tire service
- Strong knowledge of commercial and heavy-duty tire systems
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting
- Familiarity with tire safety standards and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$31.39 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
