Turf Technician

Smith Grounds Management is currently hiring for lawn care spray technicians. We are a locally owned company servicing Charlotte and surrounding areas. You must have attention to detail and a good work ethic. You need the ability to work both on a team and independently with a willingness to learn at all times. We are looking for people with a friendly and enthusiastic personality.

Duties:

*Apply chemical fertilizers, herbicide, and pesticides to lawn and shrub beds in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.

*Drive company vehicle to job site.

*Monitors condition of lawns or landscape.

*Respond to requests in a timely manner.

*Complete work orders and daily paperwork.

*Properly maintain truck and equipment for safety and efficiency.

*Reports any malfunctions in truck or equipment.

*Lead by example, encourage teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time - year around.

Experience: Lawn Care Spray Technician preferred.

Education:

High School or equivalent required

Other:

*Must be 21 years of age

*Have a clean driving record

*Able to lift 50 pounds

*Must be able to work in all weather conditions

*Must be able to pass a drug test

*Some computer experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
