Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young learners. This role involves teaching foundational subjects, implementing lesson plans, and assessing student progress while promoting social and emotional growth.

Duties

• Engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Assess student performance through standardized testing and ongoing evaluations to monitor progress.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and supports early intervention strategies.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student development and academic performance.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects diverse backgrounds and promotes collaboration among students.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in preschool or elementary school environments.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.
• Familiarity with lesson planning techniques and the ability to adapt lessons based on student needs.
• Experience in behavior management techniques to create a conducive learning environment.
• Knowledge of early intervention practices to support students with varying needs.
• DCF 45 hours required
• CDA preferred
• CPR/First Aid required
