Job Title: Tyre Fitter
Location: Crawley
Salary: Up to £27,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + OTE £30,000
Working Hours:Hours 42.5 hrs Monday to Friday with Saturday overtime on rota basis
We are currently looking for a new tyre fitter to join our team in our Crawley dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- To cover all aspects of tyre fitting duties and controlling and managing impressed stock to meet customer demand
- Four-wheel alignment when required to support workshop.
- Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
- Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
- Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above work specified.
- Complete relevant service documentation (job sheets, PDI’s, service reports) in line with brand standards, warranty and site requirements.
- Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools.
Requirements:
- The knowledge to use modern equipment
- The capability of working to the highest quality standards
- Great communication skills
- Maintain high standards of house-keeping
- Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience within a main automotive dealer preferable, but not essential
