Ui/Ux Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer who can understand technical users, simplify scientific workflows, and design intuitive user experiences for EMI/EMC simulation platforms. You’ll be a key part of the product development cycle—translating insights into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UIs that engineers love to use

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to understand user needs.
• Design user interfaces for desktop-based engineering tools and web dashboards, ensuring usability and visual clarity.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Translate complex technical workflows into clean, navigable interfaces.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure design fidelity in implementation.
• Maintain design consistency across tools while allowing room for innovation and evolution.
• Help in creating videos that demonstrates the capabilities of the tool
• Help maintain and update our user manuals so that it serves as a useful reference tool for the customers in using the tool

Required Skills

• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful design for complex workflows or data-heavy applications.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-platform UI considerations.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Experience designing for engineering/scientific/EDA/simulation tools.
• Exposure to user personas in electronics, hardware design, or simulation domains.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS basics to collaborate effectively with developers.
• A creative but systems-thinking mindset: someone who loves refining flows, not just screens.

Relevant Education + Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional UI/UX design experience (experience in enterprise or B2B products is a strong plus).
