Position Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Union Representative to serve members in the Guntersville, AL / Chattanooga, TN territory. This role enforces union contracts, resolves workplace issues, and builds strong relationships with members and employers. Creole language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visit worksites to support and represent members.

• Investigate grievances and ensure contract compliance.

• Educate members on their rights and union programs.

• Assist with bargaining and organizing efforts.

• Travel regularly within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish (required).

• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Flexible schedule (some evenings/weekends).

• Experience in labor, organizing, or related fields preferred.
