Are you a passionate Chef/Supervisor with strong leadership skills looking for a role that offers a great work-life balance? We are seeking an experienced Chef/ Supervisor to lead our school catering unit in Prosperous, Co. Kildare. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the unit, ensuring high-quality food and excellent service while leading and supporting your team of four people. Experience in a fast paced environment would be a distinct advantage, but not necessary.

Expected hours are 8:00am to 2:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 12:15pm on Friday. However flexibility is required. This position is during term time. There is no requirement to work over the Mid Term breaks, Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead, motivate and manage a team of 4 people.
• Prepare and serve fresh, nutritious meals to a high standard.
• Manage food ordering, stock control, control budget, daily/weekly admin.
• Manage a high standard of hygiene.
• Deliver excellent customer service to Students, Staff and Visitors.
