  • General Requirements
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    • Experience working in a global matrix organization is an advantage.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Finnish.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking initiative and responsibility while being a true team player.
    • Passion for people, a strong belief in individuals’ potential, and a commitment to living and promoting IKEA values.

    What you'll be doing day to day

    • Business Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to the Unit Manager and unit management team on all People & Culture topics, ensuring our people strategies come to life locally and support business goals.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the unit’s People & Culture team, ensuring they deliver excellent support and create an engaging co-worker experience.
    • People Strategy Implementation: Translate global and country people strategies into local action, making sure our values and culture are a living reality.
    • Leadership Development: Support and coach leaders to grow their capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and preparing future leaders.
    • Talent & Succession: Drive talent development and succession planning, focusing on growing high-performing potentials and ensuring a strong pipeline for key roles.
    • Learning & Training: Oversee the delivery of learning and training programs at the unit, working with specialists to meet business needs and support co-worker growth.
    • Employer Communication: Ensure consistent, clear, and inspiring employer communication that strengthens the IKEA brand and keeps co-workers informed and engaged.
    • Co-worker Relations: Implement plans that foster a positive, fair, and compliant workplace, upholding labour relations principles and local policies.
    • People Planning: Collaborate with the Business Navigation Manager to optimize staffing levels, ensuring both business needs and co-worker wellbeing are balanced.

    This position is full time 37,5 h/week and permanent. Starting in the role by agreement.

    In this role your working hours may vary from 08.00 - 20.00 based on business needs, including weekend work. Leaders are encouraged to find a way of working that suit both business and personal needs. Your main work location is IKEA Raisio store.
