Overview

Rideau Ferry Country Home is a warm and supportive retirement residence dedicated to providing excellent care and a comfortable living environment for our residents. We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Unregulated Care Provider (UCP) to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily operations and resident care needs.
• Provide personal care and support to residents with dignity and compassion.
• Lead by example and support team members during shifts.
• Document resident care and promptly report changes in condition.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and coordination of care when required.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in retirement or long-term care.
• UCP training, PSW Certificate, or HCA certification preferred.
• Prior nursing experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain adaptable in a fast-paced setting.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident-centered care.

Schedule

• Mondays through Fridays; 7:30am to 2:30pm.

Wage

• Wage will be determined based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week

Work Location: In person
