Butler Montessori, an Independent Montessori School located in Darnestown, MD is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Adolescent Guide to join our dynamic team for the 2026-2027 school year, with a start date between June and August 2026.

The ideal candidate will have a background in English Language Arts, be interested in teaching adolescent literature and language classes, and support adolescent research skills and the Montessori Model United Nations program. Experience with French is a plus.

Applicants should enjoy working with adolescents (aged 12-18) in a Montessori setting and bring creativity, patience, flexibility, collaboration, a sense of humor, and a love for working with adolescents to the job.

This position is an integral part of the Adolescent Teaching Team and requires daily collaboration with other team members, strong communication skills, and a shared sense of community values. An ideal candidate will also have a commitment to environmental stewardship, education for peace, and offer belonging and inclusivity for all.
