- 10 am to 1:30 pm on M-W and 10 am to 2 pm on Th-F, will prefer someone from zip code 28277 or closeby.
The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.
Essential Functions:
- Personal Care
- Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.
- Companion/Sitter/Household Management
- Provide companionship and respite services for family
- Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
- Client is a male in his early 80s and has Dementia and is a fall risk, the family needs immediate assistance for 3.5 hours-4 hours daily in the morning after 10 am.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
- Willing to keep client active
- Good at communicating
- Have driver's license and car
