Job Title: Car Sales Representative
Location: Limerick and Galway
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Commission based salary. From €31,200 to €80,000 per Annum.
Job Summary:
We are looking for dynamic and results-driven Car Sales Representatives to join our team at AutoXpress in Limerick and Galway. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling pre-owned vehicles to customers, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional service throughout the entire buying process. Your role will be integral in achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction while representing our brand professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Customer Service:
- Greet and engage customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
- Present and demonstrate vehicle features, specifications, and benefits to potential buyers.
- Provide information about pricing, financing options, and promotions.
- Assist customers in selecting vehicles that best meet their requirements.
- Address customer questions, resolve concerns, and build long-term relationships.
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively answer customer questions.
- Follow up on leads and customer inquiries, including inbound and outbound calls, emails, and in-person visits.
- Negotiation & Closing:
- Negotiate pricing, trade-ins, and financing options with customers to close sales.
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Market Knowledge:
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, vehicle models, and competitor offerings.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of the dealership's inventory and promotions.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide post-sale support to customers and ensure a smooth handover of the vehicle.
- Conduct follow-up calls and surveys to ensure customer satisfaction and build rapport for future sales opportunities.
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Collaborate with sales managers, finance teams, and other departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales events as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in automotive sales or a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for cars and knowledge of automotive products.
- Ability to meet sales targets and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good negotiation and closing skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar CRM tools (Salesforce, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a commission-based sales role.
- Knowledge of automotive financing options.
