Job Overview
We are seeking 2 Utility Operators to join our team. The Utility Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment and systems within our facility.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the basic set-up, operation and running of the Polar guillotine, jogger aerator as well as the stringing machines
  • Ensures the production of a high quality product by making required adjustments to equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery
  • Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
  • Demonstrate a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Experience operating Polar guillotine, Jogger Aerator as well as Stringing machines preferred
  • Fundamental computer skills and Mechanical aptitude
  • Technical knowledge of machines/equipment
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Maintain good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Sustain physical endurance for fast-paced work
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Operate and work near machinery safely
