POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of the Maintenance team, this position is responsible for maintaining our day-to-day operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Maintains the cleanliness of plant facilities including but not limited to, lunchrooms, offices, bathrooms, yard, entries/exits etc.
• Collects and disposes of used chemicals and crashed cans.
• Maintains all garbage bins in the facility.
• Performs daily 5S.
• Operates equipment while ensuring safety guidelines are met (Forklift)
• Uses safety guidelines and proper PPE to protect self and reminds others of importance.
• Adheres to all established safety practices and procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable walking behind a sweeper.
• Prior experience using a page system/radio considered an asset.
• Previous experience operating a forklift considered an asset.
